Kathey,
Just a quick note to let you know that Brandy is doing fine. The boys
and I picked up a collar, leash, bed, food and bones for her. We also
had a tag made up with her name and our phone number on it.
We later went back and picked up a rope for her to play "tug of war"
with, as her energy level matched the boys. Her favorite toy so far is
a football that we have all been impressed with her ability to grip in
her mouth and fetch. I am not sure who won the battle of attrition as
she and the boys slept through the night without much fuss.
We purchased her a bed, however she preferred mine. (Any ideas why?)
I had to place her back in her bed a couple of times, but she was a
quick learner.
She has free access from my bedroom to the back yard, and so far this
morning she has preferred to spend her time sunning. At one point she
was sitting in a lawn chair in the middle of the yard soaking rays.
